HW:19 Blogging and Foreign-language texts

I feel that the second paragraph on page 89 is important because it talks about how blogs are “supplying unfiltered eyewitness accounts about foreign countries.” What Kline really means is it is not like the information on the news when we do not know what to believe, blogs are eye witnessed and they are writing everything they see and not what they want us to think. This paragraph is speaking very highly of blogs in general; blogs are really starting to “take over.” In other words, they are overpowering the news papers and government studies by providing summaries of these foreign-language texts and making them easier to read. I feel that when I started this class, blogs weren’t even something I knew about, but now they are becoming more and more popular. My conclusion, then, is that blogs are really starting to evolve and change the way people read information from newspapers to the “man on the street” or blogging.
